The Testo 870-2 Thermal Imaging Camera hs been discontinued.

The “hot” (pun intended) new section of the thermal imaging marketplace is point-and-shoot entry-level cameras, and manufacturers are eager to offer cameras that have an excellent intersection of price and features. The new Testo 870-2 offers just this – high end features within a reasonable budget.

The Testo 870-1 Thermal Imaging Camera has been discontinued.

The new Testo 870-1 Thermal Imager is designed to provide competition to the entry level cameras of other manufacturers; and while it does do this, it also includes some features that set it apart from the entry level market.

Klein Tools may be a new name in Test and Measurement, but they are legendary in quality and performance. They have entered the Test and Measurement with quite a splash and are continuing that trend with the Klein Tools VDV501-815 TDR Ranger Kit. This is my final entry on Flir’s new line of thermal imaging camera – the FLIR T600. This bad boy falls into the “performance” category for cameras and is a great intersection of price and features. As the name implies, the price and functionality of this camera fall somewhere between the T440 and the T620. As with all Flir’s cameras as of this launch, the FLIR T600 comes equipped with MSX technology for taking super sharp thermal images digitally etched with visible light details.

Hello to all. This is my post on the final entry in Flir’s new point-and-shoot line – the Flir E8. I actually had an opportunity to spend some hands on time with this particular camera a couple weeks before launch and it is awesome. The MSX technology that was previously included only on the ultra-expensive FLIR models is now standard on all their cameras and it looks great. Now the Flir E8 has a resolution of 320x240 which certainly helps with how good the images look but the MSX feature is truly amazing.

Welcome back. The Flir E6 is next up on our list of new Flir cameras. As I’m sure you have guessed by now, the Flir E6 also features MSX technology, Flir’s awesome new invention that etches visible light details onto thermal images. Long story short, it looks awesome and makes for very detailed reporting.
