This great combination allows the user to view thermal images while also checking the area for any possible moisture problems.

Today I am reviewing the CM174 Thermal Imaging Clamp Meter from Flir. The Flir CM174 is a truly unique clamp meter with a built in thermal imaging camera. This combination of technology enables the user to locate potential electrical problems designated by abnormal temperatures in cluttered wires, electrical boxes, panels, cabinets, etc. with the follow-up ability to test perceived problems with the clamp meter or test leads.

Today I am reviewing the TPI 717 Combustion Flue Gas Analyzer series. The TPI 717 and TPI 717R are essentially the same device, but the TPI 717R uses a rechargeable Ni-MH battery, while the TPI 717 uses standard AA batteries. The TPI 717 series measures flue temperature, CO, and O2 and calculates efficiency, excess air, CO2, and CO/CO2 ratio.

Today I am reviewing the Mastercool 52300 Thermal Imaging Camera. The Mastercool 52300 is designed to measure temperatures from -4 °F to 482 °F (-20 °C to 250 °C) while displaying these temperatures as thermal images on a 2.8” display.

Today I am reviewing the GSD600 Gas Leak Detector from Amprobe. The GSD600 is designed to detect gases such as methane and propane gas with 35-ppm (propane) sensitivity. The GSD600 measures propane from 35 ppm to 580 ppm, and methane from 40 ppm to 640 ppm. The Amprobe GSD600 is fantastic for industrial, home, air-conditioning, and heating maintenance applications.
