This is basically a pared down cable certifier to meet the demand for a high tech cable wiremapping and performance tester but cut the cost of a full fledged certifier.

Klein Tools continues its march in to the Test and Measurement segment with the new Commander Voice/Data/Video Cable Testers. This new meter is one the most technical meter Klein has offered yet. The new VDV501-828 and VDV501-829 Commander are full featured Cable testers that can locate, test and measure data, telephone, and coaxial cabling.

Dent Instruments has released the newest version of its PowerScout series of power meters. The new PS3037 are a series of single-point revenue-grade power meters that have four different configurations. There are two types of PowerScout 3037 models, one with the standard serial port, or one with a serial port and an Ethernet port.
