We can all start to see that thermal imaging cameras are becoming the new standard for home inspectors and contractors by providing the functions of several devices simultaneously and with much greater efficiency. However, until recently, getting a quality image that would help you locate the problems in a home or building (let alone display this information for customers) was very cost prohibitive. The advent of MSX imaging on FLIR’s complete line of cameras, including the FLIR E5, makes lower cost models a great option for getting the job done.

Hello all. This is a brief little write-up about Flir’s new MSX Technology, known in long hand as Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging. This is fancy marketing speak for “the sharpest thermal images possible in this price range.” Just kidding, it’s actually a super advanced mathematical formula/technology that looks plain awesome.
