Hello all. This is a brief little write-up about Flir’s new MSX Technology, known in long hand as Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging. This is fancy marketing speak for “the sharpest thermal images possible in this price range.” Just kidding, it’s actually a super advanced mathematical formula/technology that looks plain awesome.

Hello to all. This is my post on the final entry in Flir’s new point-and-shoot line – the Flir E8. I actually had an opportunity to spend some hands on time with this particular camera a couple weeks before launch and it is awesome. The MSX technology that was previously included only on the ultra-expensive FLIR models is now standard on all their cameras and it looks great. Now the Flir E8 has a resolution of 320x240 which certainly helps with how good the images look but the MSX feature is truly amazing.
