Hey everyone. Today’s post will take a quick look an excellent lab-quality air velocity meter- the TSI AVM410 Velometer. This high-powered handheld unit offers a great range of features in an intuitive and convenient design.

Today’s review is on the 9535 / 9535-A Velocicalc Air Velocity Meter from TSI Incorporated. TSI is a global market leader in Air Flow Measurement, Indoor Air Quality, and many other Research Quality Testing and Monitoring instruments.

What is an Air Velocity Meter

Greetings all. Today we are going to take a look at the TSI 9545-A Velocicalc Air Velocity Meter – a rugged field-designed airflow meter with laboratory accuracy. This meter is packed to the gills with features and we’ll take a look at some of them below.

Today I will be reviewing the TSI 5825 DP-Calc Micromanometer. The base unit starts with measuring differential as well as static pressures from -15” - +15” H2O.

The TSI 5825 can also be used in conjunction with a Pitot tube to calculate and display the Velocity. The large digital display is crisp and the information is very clear to read.

Today I will be discussing the TSI 9565-A VelociCalc Ventilation Meter. This unit has many applications including, but not limited to, HVAC Testing and Balancing, Clean Room Testing, IAQ Investigations and Process Air Flow Testing.

The 9565-A model of this meter comes with the TSI 9565-P Ventilation meter and a TSI 966 articulated air velocity probe.

Hello again. Today we are going to have a look at a precision instrument that is relatively simple to understand and use but provides some serious quality – the TSI 5815 DP-Calc Micromanometer. This instrument is specifically designed with needs of the HVAC technician in mind providing pressure measurement and the capability to take volume readings as well.

Today I will be going over the TSI 9515 VelociCalc Air Velocity Meter. This meter is an excellent entry level air velocity meter for the professional HVAC technician. The TSI 9515 separates itself from the plethora of air velocity meters in this price range by having a range of 0 to 4,000 ft/min (0 to 20 m/s) and an accuracy of 5%.

Last week I wrote about the TSI HM675 Hydronic Manometer . Today I will be discussing its older brother the TSI HM685 Hydronic Manometer.  The HM685 manometer is an upgrade over the HM675 and has the same features but with a few upgrades. First the HM685 can calculate flow, heat flow, impeller diameter and brake power.

It appears that logic and common sense has prevailed. In an announcement that seemed all too obvious, TSI Alnor has released a few new accessories for their TSI Alnor EBT731 Balometer. This includes a wheeled stand that can extend up to 15ft in the air and LogDat Mobile software that can be used via Bluetooth to operate the Balometer and see data, take pictures, record voice annotations and generate reports.

Finding a quality hydronic manometer can be a tough task. However, the TSI HM675 Hydronic Manometer is great choice. The HM675 can simultaneously measure and display low side, high side, and differential pressure. This unit also has a nice splash-proof case and inputs for two temperature probes. The HM675 reads pressure in H2O, ft H2O, psi, in. Hg, m H2O, kPa, mm Hg, bar and has a range of 0 to 300 psi.
