Heads Up! Fluke’s CNX wireless system for Fluke Thermal Imagers and specialized test and measurement meters is here. This technology basically provides a system for linking a comprehensive network of measurement devices wirelessly and then analyzing the data with a CNX software equipped computer. Here is a basic setup for a home electrical inspection.
The “captain”, as fluke puts it, is a thermal imager like the Fluke TiR105, Fluke TiR110, or Fluke TiR125 and the crew would be a k-type thermocouple reading or an AC clamp meter. The data from the meters travels wirelessly and is displayed onscreen along with the standard thermogram. After you gather all the images you require for your inspection, you can wirelessly transfer them to a computer set up with CNX software and evaluate them to create reports to share with your boss or customer.
