In my last installment I wrote about the Fieldpiece HS36 Stick Meter. 
This meter accepts the accessory heads that Fieldpiece makes to expand its meters to fit its customer’s specific needs. The ACM3 CO Detector Head (pictured at right) is a snap-on Accessory that adds the capability of measuring CO to your Fieldpiece Stick Meter.
The Fieldpiece ACM3 CO Detector is a great tool for spot checking CO in ambient air as well as locating leaks in your HVAC system. This unit can be zeroed outside then brought into the worksite for fast reliable results. The ACM3 detects CO up to 1000ppm but can be exposed up to 2000pm for a 5 minute max. The CO specific electrochemical sensor is fast and has an accuracy of +/- 5%. The ACM3 also allows you to show real time data or an average with a simple sliding switch. This attachable accessory is easy to use and is a must have for any HVAC Technician.
